Tint, PPF or Ceramic Coating First? The Right Order

Getting tint, paint protection film and ceramic coating? Here's the right order to do them and why it matters.

A lot of new car owners want the full package: tint, PPF and a ceramic coating. The order matters.

1. Paint protection film

PPF goes on bare, clean paint. If the car is coated first, the film won't stick right. So PPF always comes before the coating.

2. Ceramic coating

Once the film is on, the whole car gets washed, decontaminated and lightly polished, and the coating goes over both the paint and the PPF. Coating the film makes it easier to clean and adds gloss.

3. Window tint

Tint is on the glass, so it doesn't interfere with the other two. It can be done at any point, and it's easy to do in the same visit.
